Less is moreI have been reminded that sometimes less is more when it comes to a painting. A well thought out painting that emphasizes
simple strokes of colour and shape can be just as artistically genius as a complex painting. In fact, as I try to simplify
my own work, I find that it can be quite difficult to paint a simple work of art that is balanced and interesting as well.
I have made a challenge for myself to try not to "overwork" my art. I am finding it very difficult to put down
the paint brush and walk away, but I like the results so far. So I will continue to work on resisting the urge to complicate
my paintings, I hope that this new direction will force a huge positive change in my art work.

The 2008, Collection is here. The 2008, collection of paintings has been posted. This group of paintings fully explores my new found fascination with the
world of mixed media. I have used a full range of paper, pastel, marker, and acrylic paint to create frenzy of colour and
texture. Look forward to a number of urban city paintings to follow, as they are already in the works.

New Series Comming SoonMy next collection of paintings is going to reflect the urban word merging with nature. I scoff at the notion that we all
need to be pessimists about the state of our global environment; I would like to focus on the notion that we are doing a lot
of things right. Human beings are adapt to finding solutions and creating beauty, so my next collection of work is going
to highlight urban green, and urban beauty.
